Calls for a sustainable industrial policy to be worked out, particularly as regards stimulating ecological innovation, taking account of climate change affecting the planet; encourages companies to seize the opportunities offered by the markets in new technologies, and to concentrate their efforts on reducing carbon emissions and local pollution on the one hand, and on improving energy efficiency, and skill in usingccompanied by measures to promote renewable sources of energy and ensure the safe and sustainable use of natural resources, on the other.
