Emphasises that the provision of digital public services implies the use of personal data, and therefore calls on the Commission and Member States to pay special attention to the protection of citizens’ personal data, particularly sensitive data such as medical data and electoral records, stresses that the highest levels of data protection are necessary to encourage trust in institutions and digital public services and promote participation;
