Regrets the absence of gender mainstreaming in the Europe 2020 strategy, and calls for the inclusion of the gender equality pillar therein; calls for the mainstreaming of a stronger gender perspective, in particular in the process of formulating the country-specific recommendations, and for specific policy guidance on reducing gender inequalities to be included in the annual growth survey;
