EIOPA may, at its own initiative or at the request of supervisory authorities or insurance or reinsurance undertakings, issue an Opinion to the supervisory authorities in accordance with Article 21a(1)(a) and 29(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) No 1094/2010, on internal models and approvals of internal model applications as set out in Articles 112 to 127, Article 230, Article 231 and Article 233, with a view to foster supervisory convergence.
