EWelcomes the articles in the draft agreement which refer to joint commitment and cooperation on human rights; expresses its hope that the mutually agreed respect for democratic principles and human rights will further enhance the longstanding dialogue with the Vietnamese Government on promoting notably freedom of expression, assembly, association and religion as enshrined in the Constitution;
