Calls on Member States to collect gender-disaggregated data, including on social entrepreneurship, and to report regularly on the number of female entrepreneurs; recommends that data are collected and consolidated at a European level with the support of the European Institute for Gender Equality and Eurostat; recommends that gender should be mainstreamed into the methodology of any research undertaken on entrepreneurship, social economy and social enterprise by a qualified gender expert and that particular attention should be paid to the experiences of women with multiple marginalised identities;
