Whereas this is one of the first mobilisations of the EGF due to the COVID-19 crisis, following the inclusion in its resolution of 18 June 2020 on the proposal of the European Parliament and of the Council on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF/2020/000 TA 2020 - Technical Assistance at the initiative of the Commission)1 of the mention that the EGF could be mobilised to support permanently dismissed workers and the self-employed in the context of the global crisis caused byCOVID-19 without amending Regulation (EU) No 1309/2013; ______ Textxs adopted, P9_TA(2020)0141.
