Maintains that further reforms of pension systems are necessary in order to make them sustainable; more coherence must be established between the effective retirement age, the official retirement age and life expectancy, encourages the introduction of schemes whereby pension entitlements are accrued more rapidly in the last years before retirement and advocates taking life expectancy into account for the purpose of calculating pensions;
