Calls on the Member States to step up their measures to prevent gender violence among young people and to improvethrough specific action in the area of education and combating sexist stereotypes and through better collaboration between the individuals and milieus affected, such as the family, school, the public space and the media; underscores the importance of conducting campaigns to raise awareness of the various types of violence against women and of combating sexist stereotypes; calls on the Commission and the Member States to set up a database of recommendations for preventing juvenile delinquency;
