Highlights that the mining of CRMs is one of the strong drivers of biodiversity loss and deforestation worldwide, and therefore calls on the Commission to assess the impact of their extraction, processing and use on biodiversity loss and forest loss and degradation inside and outside the EU in the measures linked to CRMs such as the Industrial Emissions Directive
