10. Believes that inclusive multilateral diplomacy under the leadership of the VP/HR is a crucial tool in conflict resolution in the neighbourhood; believes that more links and synergies need to be made between diplomacy and home affairs; , in full conformity with all fundamental principles of international law, in particular those of no use of force and threat, territorial integrity and the right of peoples for self-determination; believes that more links and synergies need to be made between diplomacy, development, trade, home affairs in line with the objectives of the EU Policy Coherence on Development and the EU Strategic Framework on Human Rights and Democracy;
