Notes that SMEs are key drivers of job creation in Europe; stresses that SMEs face particular challenges when exploiting the job opportunities of a green transition, in particular regarding access to finance, training and bridging skills gaps; calls on the Commission and the Member States to take ambitious action to provide support to facilitate the creation of non-fixed-term jobs covered by collective labour agreements with compulsory social security contributions and green job creation in SMEs, including targeted information, awareness raising, technical assistance and access to finance and training measures;
