CWelcomes the adoption of the new Energy Law by the Macedonian Parliament, transposing the Third Energy Package and making it fully compatible with the Energy Community Treaty; calls upon the authorities to focus on energy market reforms, while ensuring to guarantee the security of supply and diversification of energy sources while ensuring that energy market deregulation does not lead to bigger inequality, increase in poverty levels, or the presence of market-monopolistic tendencies;
