6. Welcomes the Commission's objective to support TV, Radio and Internet within the communication and media activities in their annual activity report 2012, where the Commission aims to support independent reporting on EU affairs in their own language; with this in mind finds it worryingelcomes the fact that significant resources have been used to broadcast in Arabic, while many official EU languages are still not covered by the networksbut takes the view that this should not be at the expense of broadcasting in all the official EU languages, which should be provided; asks the Commission to show viewer stats for all networks in all languages.
