Underlines that consumers shall be informed when they are interacting with an automated decision process and that their choices and performance are not limited; stresses that the use of AI mechanisms on commercial surveillance of consumers shall be countered, even if it concerns "free services", ensuring that it is strictly in line with fundamental rights and GDPR; all regulatory changes shall take in consideration the impact on vulnerable consumers.
