Deplores the overall reduction in commitment and payment appropriations for control and enforcement of the CFP that the Commission is proposing, in particular as regards the financial contribution to the Member States in payment appropriations; considers that the Commission should make greater efforts to facilitate and promote the uptake of appropriations in this area;
