Calls on the EIB to take into account, in the case of large-scale infrastructure projects, all risks likely to have an impact on the environment and to finance only those which have demonstrated real added value for the environment, the economy and the local population; stresses the importance of strict monitoring of possible risks of corruption and fraud and asks the EIB to freeze any loans to projects wheren an official investigation is underway, OLAF or national, so requires;
