Reiterates its intention to closely examine all elements of the proposal concerning the rule of law conditionality clause and to introduce the necessary provisions to guarantee that the final beneficiaries of the Union budget can in no way be affected by breaches of rules for which they are not responsibleWelcomes the rule of law conditionality clause, which will give greater freedom of action to the European Union in defending this fundamental principle on which it is founded;
