Calls on the Commission to submit a proposal for a directive based on ILO Convention No. 189 concerning decent work for domestic workersMember States to take action to combat the illegal and unfair practices that mark the employment sector and domestic work; urges the Member States to draw up proposals that, in line with ILO Convention No. 189 concerning decent work for domestic workers, make it possible to combat undeclared work and expose these contracts, by encouraging families into regular employment and making employers’ contributions tax- deductible;

Calls on all levels of government to use every means at their disposal to fight the phenomenon of foreign temporary agencies which, exploiting Directive 96/71/EC concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services, engage in unfair competitive practices by offering local companies cheaper drivers, thus cancelling out the effects of investments in the competitiveness and economic and social growth of the haulage sector;

Calls on the Commission to proposeall levels of government and appropriate legislative vehicle providing that companies have a duty of care for which they may be held liablell offices to increase the liability of companies, in respect of both their subsidiaries as well as their subcontractors operating in third countries, in order to prevent the risk of violations of human rights, corruption, severe physical injury or environmental damage and the violation of ILO Conventions;
