Reiterates that the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict poses a major impediment to regional security as well as to futher development of the Eastern Partnership; calls for rapid and substantial progress towards its resolution, on the basis of international law, relevant UNSC resolutions, and OSCE Minsk Group Basic Principles; underlines the importance of credible confidence-building measures, notably general de-militarization and withdrawal of Armenian forces from occupied territories surrounding Nagorno- Karabakh; calls on the EU to continue to actively support the resolution process;
