Calls on the Member States to transpose Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the digital single market and, in particular, to guarantee fair remuneration for authors and performers, fully respecting the balanced compromises made on European level; calls on the Commission to put pressure on the Member States in the transposition phase and to closely monitor the national transpositions and their conformity with the EU-Directive; expresses its dissatisfaction with some national implementations undermining the principles of the Directive, causing harm to artists and creators for the financial exploitation of their work; furthermore articulates its dissatisfaction with the work the Commission has done to secure EU-conform national solutions and the continued delay in the publication of the guidelines; continues its call for the stronger fight against (online-)piracy of CCSI products;
