WelcomesTakes note of Draft amending budget No 5/2015 (‘DAB 5/2015’) as a first step in response to the challenges posed by migration trends, and the unprecedented situation in the Mediterranean; notes that it; deplores deeply that the proposes and increases in commitments of EUR 75 722 000, with payments of EUR 69 652 000 to be redeployed from the Galileo programmare in no way contributing to stop the flow of illegal migrants and terrorists into the Union; deeply deplores that the money will be used to facilitate illegal migration, thereby benefitting human traffickers and terrorists alike;

Concludes that to prevent further loss of lives at sea and sto further implement the principles of solidarity and fair sharing of responsibility, greater financial resources will be required in the medium and long term. p the mass-influx of impoverished and illiterate economic migrants into the Union it is necessary to take action and send the boatloads full of illegal immigrants back to where they came from; fair sharing of responsibility should be implemented by means of setting up refugee camps in the Gulf Region that should be paid for and managed by countries like Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain that at the moment practically accept no refugees.
