Condemns any form of violence against children, such as physical and sexual abuse, forced marriages, child labour, sexual exploitation, trafficking, honour killing, female genital mutilation, child soldiers and human shields; considers that tradition, culture and religion should never be used to justify violence against children; calls on the Member States to uphold their obligations and combat any form of violence against children, including by formally prohibiting and sanctioning corporal punishment against children; calls on the Member States to increase their cooperation and dialogue with third countries, to raise awareness and to advocate for children's rights to be respected everywhere in the world;
