Calls on Member States to support policies that stimulate the offer of alternatively fuelled light and heavy-duty vehicles, such as ambitious emissions standards through targeted strategies, as well as agreeing on the need to set ambitious targets for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in road transport to be reached either by 2025 and 2030or by 2030, both for new passenger cars and new light commercial vehicles, including binding sales targets for zero and low emission and for heavy new vehicles.;
