Underlines that policies enabling high- capacity and secure communications infrastructure are a crucial element for all services relying on communications, including cloud services, and regrets the Council's proposed cuts to the budget fohighlights that due to limited budget for the Connecting Europe Facility the support for broadband deployment needs to be complemented by assistance provided under other Union bproadband fundinggrammes and initiatives, including the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF);
