Points out the importance of drawing up, planning and implementing joint cross-border strategies relating to development and access to airport infrastructure; highlights the importance of European territorial cooperation in achieving these coordinated strategies, and the urgency of certain cross-border investments; calls for all macro-regional coordination to include an in-depth study of transport integration – in particular as regards air transport – as part of its strategy, in order to achieve genuine social and territorial cohesion.
