Is most concerned about the results of a recent study by the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) and the European Brain Council (EBC) according to which more than one in three Europeans (164.8 million) suffers from a mental disorder which has thus become the leading cause of illness; calls on the Commission, through more in- depth studies, to examine more closely links with the workload, working schedules and working arrangements and, where appropriate, propose a list of measures to be taken;
