  • Former adviser in the offices of the Ministers for Labour and Employment, the Brussels Region and Education. Co-founder of the Red Lions (grouping the Flemish Socialists of Brussels). Active in the trade-union movement for over thirty years. Expert on labour problems and rapporteur to OECD 1973, ILO 1975 and ECE (UN) 1979.
  • Chairman, Commission on the Status of Women in Belgium and Belgian representative, UN Commission on the Status of women.
