Born
1917/06/13 - Kerkyra- Graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Athens. Worked as a civil servant, lawyer and journalist 1940-1951; member of the Council of State 1951-1977. Arrested and imprisoned during the dictatorship of the colonels because of his resistance activities 1968-1973.
- Elected PA.SO.K. Deputy 1977-1981. Spokesman for PA.SO.K. Vice-President of the European Parliament since 1984 and member of its Socialist Group.
- Author of seven literary works (novels, short stories) for which he was awarded State prizes in 1961 and 1980 as well as articles published in the daily and periodical press.
