  • Trained for the Roman Catholic priesthood in France, Italy and the USA 1956-1963. Officiated as a priest in Minneapolis (Minnesota), Randers (Denmark) and Godthåb 1963-1976. Appointed Head of Greenland Radio in 1974. Among other offices held, was a member of the Board of Governors of the Knud Rasmussen Folk High School, Holsteinsborg, between 1968 and 1979 and Chairman 1972-1975.
  • Editor of 'Nalivta Nipâ', magazine of the Greenland Folk High School, 1969-1972.
  • Author of 'The Relevance of Native Culture to Northern Development' (1976) and 'Tanker i et Bulldozerspor' (1977).
