  • Member of the Board of the Athens Concert Hall Organisation (since 1990). Member of the Board of the Philharmonic Society (since 1990). Member of the Board of the Lambrakis Research Foundation (since 1990).
  • Archontas Megalos Referendarios (Oecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, 1995). Awarded honorary doctorate (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, 1999). Recipient of many Greek and international honours (the Athens Academy, the United Nations, the Association of European Journalists, etc.); Gold Medal of the City of Athens and the Town of Ermoupoli, Syros (1990); Gold Cross of St. Cyril and St. Methodius (Patriarchate of Czechia and Slovakia); Gold Cross (Oecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, 1994).
