Draft amending budget No 7/2020: Update of revenue (own resources)
The rule of law and fundamental rights in Bulgaria (B9-0309/2020)
Common agricultural policy - support for strategic plans to be drawn up by Member States and financed by the EAGF and by the EAFRD (A8-0200/2019 - Peter Jahr)
As the value of the CAP is around 1/3 of the EU budget (EUR 365 billion in 7 years), the importance of this act is evident, as well as the impact of the CAP on all Member States.Although I welcome certain provisions stated in the CAP, such as the intention to reduce pesticides to 50% by 2030, the need to increase agricultural land for organic farming to 25% and the conservation of biodiversity, the negative sides are far more. For example, the corporations will receive the largest part of the money and benefit from it, while for small farmers, especially family farms, which make up over 90%, little remains. As before, they are neglected in the context of support, and the CAP advocates for them only in principle without strong and purposeful solutions. For example, the areas of Croatian karst pastures have been neglected. Although greater protection and animal welfare is mentioned, little has been done to abandon industrial agricultural production. The proposal is unacceptable to me, and considering that many good amendments found no support, I decided to vote against the CAP report because in the end it brings much more harm than good for Croatia and Europe.
Common agricultural policy: financing, management and monitoring (A8-0199/2019 - Ulrike Müller)
European Semester: Annual Sustainable Growth Strategy 2021 (A9-0036/2021 - Markus Ferber)
Slijedom navedenog, očito je kako ti instrumenti i mehanizmi predstavljaju ozbiljno prisvajanje suverenih ovlasti država u korist Europske unije, ovisno o interesima velikih sila i velikih gospodarskih i financijskih skupina. S druge strane pak, odredbe Fiskalnog ugovora, koje zahtijevaju znatne i trajne suficite primarnog proračuna, imaju devastirajuće gospodarske i socijalne posljedice.Smatram kako je potrebno staviti izvan snage sve instrumente i mehanizme gospodarskog upravljanja EU-a.
European Semester: employment and social aspects in the Annual Sustainable Growth Strategy 2021 (A9-0026/2021 - Lina Gálvez Muñoz)
Neoliberal principles, upon which European Union policies towards the peoples and workers of a Member states are based, should be abandoned, since such principles are contrary to social progress and sustainable economic growth. The rules and mechanisms that control and enforce the fiscal, monetary and economic policies of the Member states cause the reduction of labour and other social rights, increase social inequality, reduce public investments, public services and social functions of the states as well as the manufacturing sector. In addition, the liberalisation and privatisation of strategic sectors is evident, with a consequent increase in structural deficits. Consequently, it is clear that these instruments and mechanisms represent a serious take-over of the sovereign powers of the states in favour of the European Union, depending on the interests of large economic and financial groups. On the other hand, the provisions of the Fiscal Agreement, which require substantial and permanent surpluses of the primary budget, have devastating economic and social consequences. I consider it necessary to repeal all such instruments and mechanisms of EU economic governance.
The situation in Afghanistan (B9-0321/2021, B9-0324/2021, B9-0325/2021, B9-0326/2021, B9-0327/2021, B9-0329/2021)
European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (A9-0253/2021 - Joanna Kopcińska)
Pandora Papers: implications on the efforts to combat money laundering, tax evasion and avoidance (B9-0527/2021, RC B9-0530/2021, B9-0530/2021, B9-0531/202)
Preparation of the EU-Ukraine Summit (RC-B9-0092/2023, B9-0092/2023, B9-0093/2023, B9-0094/2023, B9-0095/2023, B9-0096/2023)
Imamo velike ljudske gubitke i to uglavnom s ukrajinske strane.
Strengthening the application of the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between men and women (A9-0056/2022 - Kira Marie Peter-Hansen, Samira Rafaela)
2022 Rule of Law Report - The rule of law situation in the European Union (B9-0189/2023, B9-0190/2023, B9-0191/2023)
Deforestation Regulation (A9-0219/2022 - Christophe Hansen)
Guidelines for the 2024 budget - Section III (A9-0124/2023 - Janusz Lewandowski)
Implementation report on Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods (A9-0416/2023 - Tilly Metz)
Protection of the European Union’s financial interests - combating fraud - annual report 2022 (A9-0434/2023 - Maria Grapini)
Extending the list of EU crimes to hate speech and hate crime (A9-0377/2023 - Maite Pagazaurtundúa)
Protiv. U Bruxellesu vladaju cenzori, totalitaristi i globalisti.
Iran’s unprecedented attack against Israel, the need for de-escalation and an EU response (RC-B9-0235/2024, B9-0235/2024, B9-0237/2024, B9-0239/2024, B9-0240/2024, B9-0249/2024, B9-0250/2024, B9-0252/2024)

Paragraph 8
Paragraph 8
8. Notes that permanent and temporary posts authorised under the 2020 DB remain unchanged compared to the 2019 budget for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA), while those posts increase for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) (+34, following revision of the general food law ), the European Environment Agency (EEA) (+1 ) and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) (+2 ); highlights that, where appropriate, more financial and human resources must be allocated to those agencies in order to ensure their independence, in order to fulfil their mandate and execute their tasks, and in order to promote a science-based approach in the Union; underlines that better coordination between the agencies would optimise their work, as well as the use of public funds;
